Hi, This is Latiful Kabir, a programmer by profession and passion.
My key areas of computing skills are the object-oriented programming in C++/Java/Python, algorithm, data structure, multithreading, grid computing, TCP/IP protocol, data quality and development of scientific software. Currently, I am working as an Applications Engineer in the Collider-Accelerator Department of the the Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) where I write custom controls software to support the operations of the collider/accelerator at RHIC. Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Riverside and was stationed at BNL where I was involved in the STAR experiment and the EIC efforts. I also worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the Mississippi State University and was stationed at Jefferson Lab (JLab). At JLab, I was involved in Hall B (CLAS collaboration) and Hall C.
Prior to my postdoctoral appointments, I was stationed at the Oak Ridge National Lab as part of the PhD research project. My Grad school was the University of Kentucky where I finished my course work before moving to the Oak Ridge National Lab.
